B’nai Jeshurun Sisterhood gives the women of our congregation the opportunity to make new friends, enjoy great programs, learn more about Judaism and serve our congregation. We contribute toward the synagogue’s operating and capital budget. We support our youth by providing Israel and camp scholarships, Bibles for Confirmation, candlesticks for each Bat Mitzvah, and youth advisor funding.
Your Sisterhood affiliation with Women’s League means that you are a member of an international organization that represents you on the world scene, and connects you to organizations that enrich Jewish cultural life, making a difference in the quality of Jewish communities worldwide. Our combined numbers count and our voices are heard in national and state capitals. Your Sisterhood link to Women’s League – the voice of Conservative Jewish women – is a link that will enhance you personally, deepen your Jewish involvement, and enrich your connections with other Jewish women and to Jews around the world.
